Cornwall man charged with various offenses
An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested Tuesday for taking his parents' vehicle without permission and using their credit card to purchase synthetic drugs, according to police.
Jeremy A. Relleva, 105 Spring Hill Lane, was charged with two counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle, five counts of access-device fraud, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an alcoholic beverage and driving without a license for incidents that occurred between Oct. 3rd and 10th. The drug purchases totaled $122.05.
Relleva was taken to Central Booking for arraignment and was placed in Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Schuylkill County
Man incarcerated for striking mother
A 20-year-old Pine Grove man was placed in Schuylkill County prison after he allegedly attacked his mother and a teenage girl Tuesday night.
Charles Kimmel Jr., 20, was charged with simple assault, criminal mischief, harassment and underage drinking, state police at Schuylkill Haven said. He was placed in prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Kimmel returned to his home at 75 Suedberg Road under the influence of alcohol at 8:45 p.m., police said. A verbal altercation became physical, and Kimmel allegedly shoved both his mother, Lori Kimmel, 44, and a 17-year-old girl and threw them around the bedroom. The girl sustained injuries to her neck and elbow. During the fight, a laptop computer was broken.
Charles Kimmel fled the scene before police arrived but was located in Donaldson and arrested.
North Lebanon
CRASH : Ebenezer Fire Co., Lebanon city fire crews, First Aid and Safety Patrol and fire police were dispatched at 8:33 p.m. Tuesday to 1900 N. Route 72.
North Londonderry
CRASH: Palmyra's Citizens Fire Co. and Life Lion EMS were dispatched at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday to 981 Gravel Hill Road.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Dennis Buck, 58, of 355 Palmyra-Bellegrove Road, reported that his mailbox was damaged overnight Monday. A gallon of iced tea was found next to the mailbox and is believed to be the cause of the damage, police said.
